Melissa replied: "it slows your metabolism. with me, i was simply not hungry and didn't eat. it threw me in mania and i was drinking too much and came close to committing suicide. it may not do those things, i think the drinking isn't supposed to be in there ive never taken topamax."

How long does it take to get back complete sexaul function when quiting paxil, physical sensations along with ? I have been on paxil 20 mg for abou 6 years started at 14. I weaned off slowly and have been clean off the paxil for 3 months. I just don't find the sexual sensation are the same. How long does it take for everything to get back to normal.

As for sexual sensation, I would have to say that it may very well be normal but as it's been so long (6+years) that you just don't realize it."

what can an 11 year old take to help focus in school when she already takes paxil for anxiety? she was taking concerta but is having headaches. i don't trust the doctor as websites say when you take paxil there are certain drugs you should avoid. help please? of course a psychiatrist is prescribing these drugs. medication was a last resort for us after years of therapy and medical tests including testing for food allergy. no abuse, believe me i resisted medication as long as i could.

If you are self medicating.......get a psychiatrist to ween her off or recommend it - which I can't really see. The side effects and problems associated with dose and cessation of SSRIs and similar drugs are IMMENSE and INCLUDE concerns about SUICIDE and bizarre thoughts as well as a sense of being out-of-sorts etc. THERE ARE CONTRAINDICATIONS WITH THESE MEDS....some which can cause death especially when combining MAOs. What happens when you take diet pills while on paxil? I know you are not suppose to take diet pills while you are on a SSRI but does anyone know what happens if you do? I want to start taking them but not if the mix can be deadly.

How long does it take to feel results when on Paxil CR (or any antidepressant)? I'm on Paxil CR, but I've only been taking it for about a week. I still feel the same. I personally don't think they work, which is why I didn't want any meds to begin with, but apparently I need to be controlled. I've heard it takes about a month if the dosage is right. I'm on 25mg. Can anyone confirm this?

If its okay, ask him what known side effects exist when taking them together. You're covered both ways. There is a study that shows that Chantix can be related to suicide tendencies and vivid dreams, so you may want to make sure you are on some type of antidepressant. "
