͏██͏██͏██ Mafia Girl ͏██͏██͏██ replied: "Gaturado"

willison85 replied: "Vitamin water, powerade, naked smoothies, otawalla smoothies"

rivasj27 replied: "Try good ol' fashion orange juice"

Greta B replied: "Guarana is a source of caffeine, I think. So although it sounds natural and interesting... if you can't have caffeine, you can't have guarana. Other ingredients = B vitamins, taurine. Lucozade is a source of glucose. Powerade has useful ingredients that help rehydrate you, but no caffeine. Also Gatorade. But also non-packaged drinks - ie, banana smoothie? Or milkshake? Or milk - or any of the sports type drinks made by EAL etc."

What happens if you drink caffeine within 12 hours of sedation? I'm going to be getting sedated tomorrow, for oral surgery, and I got a list of rules and one of them were not to drink caffeine within 12 hours of surgery and not to eat after midnight. Why's this? I don't plan on doing either, I'm just curious why that would matter.

Ginny Jin replied: "Well caffeine is a stimulant so it would work against the sedation and the reason they tell you not to eat is so that you don't choke on your vomit."

I need a long list of energy drinks and how much caffeine is in them per can? the wikipedia one doesnt say how much per can, only per liter or ounce. And as long as possible.

Does "Coffee Extract" In Drinks Have Caffeine? Or Is It Just A Flavor? I know that on some canned coffee drinks, it explicitly lists caffeine under ingredients in addition to "coffee extract", so when I see just the extract alone, do I assume it's caffeine free?

Flowerlady replied: "Natural extracts are just that...extracted from the flavor source. In other words, natural butter extract come from butter, not chemicals. Imitation extracts are made of chemicals...fake, if you will. Imitation vanilla has never come close to an orchid or bean. So, it depends. If it is natural, it probably does have caffeine. If imitation, then no. Hope that helps."

No Caffeine or Caffeine free drinks at Starbucks? Can someone provide me with a list of the caffeine free drinks and flavors at Starbucks? Thanks!

bark replied: "any coffee drinks can be made with decaf."

triciawin87 replied: "carmel apple cider is amazing!!"

Kerri W replied: "I know any of the creme based drinks are caffeine free and most of the others can be made decaf."

lildude211us replied: "here is all the ones off the top of my head Hot drinks: hot chocolate, white hot chocolate, Dulce de leche creme, cinnamon dolce creme, chai tea latte, pumpkin spice latte cold drinks: iced tea (many kinds) passion tea lemonade, vanilla bean frappuccino As long as the drink doesnt have espresso in it, then it probably doesnt have caffeine."

Does white tea have caffeine? I recently bought a box of Lipton's new White tea that comes in the pyramid shaped bags. The label says it's white tea with island mango and peach flavors, and that it's made with real orange leaves and lemongrass. I've read all over the box and it doesn't say that the tea is caffeine free, but it doesn't have caffeine listed in the ingredients, either. I am on a special diet and I am not supposed to eat or drink anything that has caffeine in it. Does anyone know anything about this?

Wild seed replied: "yes, they do..."

jlptravel@sbcglobal.net replied: "White tea is the very yougest tip tea leaves, picked soon after the bud opens. White tea has caffine, but much less than other teas."

SmartAleck replied: "yes, white tea's caffeine content is comparable to green tea. the only teas that do not have caffeine are herbal teas, as even decaffeinated tea contains some levels of caffeine."

serrano_bill replied: "White teas have caffeine. In fact, new studies indicate that white tea may actually contain more caffeine than black tea. Regardless of whether or not this is true, a lot of caffeine-sensitive people get headaches after drinking white teas."

FaithinJude replied: "If it doesn't say caffeine free, it is safe to bet that it does have caffeine in it. It is not listed as an ingredient as it is something contained in the tea-leaves, not something they added to create the product. Hope this helps."

Thin Kaboudit replied: "If it is made with actual tea, then yes, it has caffeine in it! But: You can easily decaffeinate it yourself. Caffeine is astoundingly soluble in water, if you dunk your teabag in boiling water for 3-5 seconds, stirring vigourously, then remove & squeeze the teabag, almost all the caffeine will be in that first cup. Put the bag in a second cup of hot water for a very low caffeine-level beverage!"

Serena M replied: "White tea has the lowest caffeine content of any of the teas, about 1-5% of that of coffee. The darker the tea, the longer it has been fermented, the more caffeine. Green tea has about 5-10% of coffee, oolong 10-15%, and black tea 15-20% of coffee. So, basically if you can drink decaf coffee, you can handle white tea, since decaf coffee has about 5-10% the caffeine of coffee. If you want truly caffeine free, try Roobios or Herbal teas, like Chamomile and Peppermint. But, watch out for Mate Yerba, an herbal Argentinan tea that has the same caffeine content as coffee."

How much caffeine is in the Monster Energy Drink "Hitman" shot? It's sold in a 89ml bottle. Regular monster has 10mg of caffeine per ounce (160 mg per 16 ounce can), but obviously the Hitman shot is more concentrated. Anyone know how much caffeine (not the "energy blend" that's listed on the can, just the caffeine content) is in the bottle? Thanks.

Mike replied: "I cant seem to find it. They don't label it on the bottle but on this blog they say "Although its caffeine content is not disclosed, we estimate its caffeine content to be approx 240 mg""

eldanest replied: "Per oz Hitman only packs about 80mg of caffeine, which is considerably less then for example AMMO that packs 171mg of caffeine per oz. Since Hitman comes in a large shot of 3 oz, it packs about 240mg per bottle. If you down a whole Hitman shot, you will get a serious kick that is well above most other energy drink products. I agree with the guy before; There you find everything you need to know about caffeine and energy shots. -Dan"
