Lithium Ion Recharg Battery for Kodak c875? I am looking for a rechargeable Lithium Ion battery/batteries for my Kodak c875 digital camera. Anybody have any recommendations? The cheaper the better, of course. I prefer to buy from Amazon.com, buy.com, etc (the stores with a better reputation) or brick&mortar stores.

TheCat replied: "Your camera uses AA batteries. I'd recommend to get rechargeable NiMH AA batteries. The pre-charged one works the best. It keeps the charge longer. 4 for $12.06 at amazon.com. See"

Lizbeth replied: "The best place to get a battery is needbattery.com they have the best prices, the best warranty and a 30 day money back guarantee."

Is the Kodak model Z915 camera compatible with the Kodak KLIC-8000 lithium-ion rechargeable battery? I have other Kodak cameras that use this type of battery, and only specific Kodak's can use them. I am about to buy a new camera and I need our next camera to be 100% compatible with this KLIC-8000 battery. If you have used this camera with this battery, please let me know. Thank you very much!

rs replied: "No it is not compatible with the KLIC-8000 battery: It looks like you would be stuck with AA Alkaline, NiCd's or NiMH batteries."

pOOkEy replied: "This camera only works with (2) AA batteries (alkaline, lithium, or Ni-MH), see camera specifications on the link below: "

Lithium Ion Battery with Kodak EasyShare Z712IS Camera? I got the Kodak EasyShare Z712IS for my last birthday, and it's a great camera, but it's a battery guzzler. It goes through two brand new double As in about eight minutes! I even tried rechargable batteries and they still don't last very long. I was looking at the Kodak website and it says they have rechargable Lithium Ion batteries that are compatable with my camera, which would be great. Just two things I'm wondering about: A) How long does a Lithium-Ion battery last, and how long does it take to charge? B) Could I use an AC adapter to charge it while it's still in my camera or would I need to buy a battery charger too?

electrodude71394 replied: "lithium ion should be about 7x longer than a normal battery (according to a lithium battery package) check to see whether the ac adapter would charge it on the website"

fhotoace replied: "Batteries do NOT charge in the camera for many reasons, one of which is the heat generated when the battery charges. You must use the battery charger that matches the batteries you use. Li-ion batteries maintain their charges for weeks between uses and typically will produce over 200 images per charge. If treated well, the can last up to 5 years ... or longer"

carrierox2010 replied: "I have a kodak Z812 IS and your problem is you are not suppost to put regular batteries in it. Both my camera and your camera are ment to work with lithium batteries only. A) They last a long time. I just got my camera and it didn't come with a rechargable battery, it came with only a regular battery!! That regular lithium battery lasted me 4 days (and I took pictures all 4 of those days)!! B) You are going to have to buy a battery charger too!! PS. Kodak batteries are expensive I just bought mine off from this site, they are not kodak but it says they will work"

What kind of lithium ion battery pack would I need for a Kodak ZD8612 IS? I just bought the camera for my niece who is 17. But even with rechargeable batteries she cannot take many photos before they die. She wants to go the zoo and take several photos so I told her I'd buy her a Lithium Ion battery pack to go with it, but I found many choices and wanted to know what the best pick would be. thanks :D

ಥ_ಥ Serabi ಠ_ಠ replied: "I have that same camera, I bought the KODAK Li-Ion Rapid Battery Charger K8500-C+1 - battery and charger - Li-Ion for it. Not sure if it's the best though"

fhotoace replied: "You will notice that the Z8612 does not use Li-ion batteries. In the future, your niece will want to be sure she buys a camera that uses them, but for now, have her charge all her NiMH batteries the night before you head for the zoo and also carry a hand full of AA alkaline batteries as back up. One of the things that can cause early battery failure is poor energy management. The LCD uses a lot of power so turning off the camera at the end of each shooting cycle is critical. Showing off the images to friends using the LCD can use energy needed to operate the camera. Flash is also a heavy user of the batteries power. The AA lithium batteries are NOT rechargeable. The best solution would be the Kodak Li-ion kit on this link "

i have a kodak digital camera and a lithium ion rechargeable battery? the camera is dead and i dont know how to charge the rechargeable battery. what am i supposed to do or how do i charge the rechargeable battery? ( ive never charged it before, its fairly new)

Always Right! replied: "it should have a charger with it. if it doesnt go on ebay and buy one going off the model number of the camera"

Does the Kodak C763 come with a charger for its Lithium-Ion battery? I want to buy one but on curry/dixons website it mentions nothing about a charger or AC adapter and it pretty useless without one. xx

crazykahlua81 replied: "uh Kodak sucks its one of the slowest pieces of crap ever. Put in some extra money and get a sony or canon! They all have litium batteries"

TomTom replied: "yes it does"

pingu_p replied: "Hi, it comes with the charger, but you have to take your battery into this charger for re-charging. It's a good and priceless digital camera, I love it a lot."

Digital Camera Lithium Ion Battery Upgrade Question? I recently bought a Kodak M1063. I think it is a great camera , but the battery, even tho it is Lithium Ion , Doesn't last as long as I would like it too. Is it possible to upgrade the battery? The current battery is a 3.7v Rechargeable KLIC - 001 it is 770mAh. If I bought a different 3.7v battery with say 3000mAh would it be generically compatible? Is there anything you can point me to that speaks about this specifically? I took your advice and tried contacting Kodak. ...... It would probably have been easier to hire a witch and carry her on a palanquin to the top of some remote mountain in the Seirra Azul's and start a huge bonfire and wait for the full moon so she could read some Tarot Cards and use her crystal ball to answer me. Kodak customer service is a JOKE. Fortunately a 20 minute drive to Best Buy and 30 seconds talking to someone who clearly knew a lot more about Kodak Products than Kodak answered my question. TYVM for the suggestion and for taking the time to answer :)

fhotoace replied: "You will have to contact the help line at Kodak. Batteries do not last a certain amount of time ... they are usually good for a certain number of shots before needing to be recharged. If you keep the LCD turned off, don't use the LCD to show off your shots and remember that using the zoom in excess and the flash unit a lot, the number of shots per charge will be reduced"

Battery for Kodak Easyshare Z812 IS? Does the Kodak Easyshare Z812 IS run on ordinary AA batteries or AA alkaline batteries? The manual that comes with the camera shows only lithium ion batteries.

Karthick. S replied: "The Z812 IS is powered by either one CRV3 or two AA Lithium disposable batteries (Kodak doesn’t support the use of Alkaline AA’s or NiMH re-chargeable AA’s)."

Bifferoo replied: "If you prefer to use the Lithium AA's, look for the Energizer E2's; they last about 7 times longer than the alkaline batteries in your camera. You can buy them anywhere, but certified battery has the 8 packs on sale right now. Check it out!"

What batteries can I use for my Kodak Easyshare Z712? I have a Kodak Easyshare Z712 and it is very picky on what batteries it functions with. The manual recommends a KLIC-8000 Rechargeable Li-ion battery or Lithium AA batteries. I bought brand new Lithium batteries and it shows the low battery sign. If you could respond with any/all of the batteries that my camera can use that would be greatly appreciated.

Elvis replied: "your KLIC rechargeable is the best one to use"

Seeandy replied: "KLIC-8000 Rechargeable Li-ion battery ONLINE SHOP "

dfhdfhdg replied: "Oh god. I have that same camera. I hate it with a passion. it lasts for like 5 min with batteries."

Lithium ion camera battery question. . .? I know the answer is not a definite and it depends on the way one uses the camera but. . . I bought a Kodak M1063 digital camera. Does anyone know approximately how many pix (definitely looking for a range) I can take using a fully charged battery? We are going camping and I'll be unable to recharge the battery while we're away. What would be the minimum if, for instance, I don't review the pix using the battery power, and only shoot stills - no video. Again, I know there is no definitive answer but someone must have some experience that would allow them to ballpark the number. Thanks! There is no viewfinder!!

Elvis replied: "the website and manual both tell you how many"

rs replied: "Probably about 200 pictures. Ways to make the battery last longer: Turn off the viewfinder Turn off picture review or make it last as short as possible so you can see if your picture was out of focus or blurred by motion. Don't turn it on and off unless you are not shooting for several minutes. Extending and retracting the lens drains the battery. You should get at least two spare batteries. You can usually get Li-Ion clone batteries on ebay very cheaply. You can also keep 1 Lithium battery (non-rechargeable) for that time when you absolutely positively must take those shots no matter what."
